Dorestad T-Shirt — Vikings on the Rhine AD 834 Tee (WSoH)

Dorestad lay where the Kromme Rijn leaves the Lek, and for a century it was the largest trading place in the Frankish north: a waterfront of timber jetties, warehouses and imported silver. In 834 a Viking fleet came up the river and sacked it — and came back the next year, and the year after that. The front of this shirt is that morning on the water. The back carries the Writesides of History mark and address, and nothing else.
